FAQ

Is this The Index with a serif?

No. The Index taxes its own token’s trades and forwards stock to holders. Equinox holds the stocks, makes their markets, and pays holders from the spread. Different money, different risk, different object.

Can US persons use Equinox?

No. Robinhood Stock Tokens are not available to US persons under their terms, and Equinox inherits that restriction. The eligibility gate enforces it at mint.

When is the desk open?

When the contracts are deployed, verified on Blockscout, and the first epoch is scheduled — Session 001. There is a whitelist for notification; there are no deposits before verified contracts.

Do I keep my Stock Tokens?

You hold index shares redeemable for constituents. The vault holds the Stock Tokens that back your shares; redemption pays out in constituents at NAV.

What happens at the open?

The underlying reprices at once, and liquidity that quoted through the close absorbs the gap. The Session Hook charges the widest fee tier in the first minutes after 09:30 ET, so that risk is paid for rather than eaten.

Is there a token?

No. There is no token today, and no sale of one. The planned design has no trade tax and takes a published, capped protocol fee from harvested revenue. No revenue claim is made until the contract that earns it is verified on Blockscout.

Who signs the session feed?

Initially a single published signer attesting to the session calendar. That is a trust assumption and it is named as one; the path to multiple signers and onchain calendar commitments is planned and will be published.

Where are the contracts?

In development. Not deployed. The contract register on the Contracts page lists every address as AWAITING DEPLOYMENT; when that changes, the addresses appear there first, as verified source on Blockscout.
